SNOW FUN!

I was so sad when we didn't get snow to take Kirina sledding, that once it snowed we hurry and took our opportunity to go have some fun. I had seen a really cool looking sled at walmart made for babies. So we went and got the sled and headed to my parents house. Jared was so excited to pull her in her sled and take her down some hills. As Jared was pulling her, she was laughing so hard. She really really enjoyed herself. Jared got a little to rough with her and started going really crazy with her in the sled she flew out and face planted it in the snow. And surprisingly she didn't cry, she just pushed herself up and sat in the snow. Such a tough little girl. After that Jared built a mini snowman, and it was so cute. Kirina loved it, she tried to eat the nose a few times. She kept talking to it, as if he would talk back to her. She is so cute. Next year should be really fun :)

Snowboarding

Jared and I :)

Jared and I decided we would go snowboarding since last year I couldn't go because I was pregnant.
We were so excited to go. And we really needed some time to have fun by ourselves :)
We went to Wolf Creek Mountain, and it was so dang icy. We were the first ones on the freshly groomed snow. Both Jared and I thought we would be super rusty since we haven't been in a year or so. But to both our surprise, we were both pretty good. The only time I fell was when Jared decided he wanted to ride up the lift with me. I told him that I always fall when trying to get of the lifts with someone. But he said he believed in me and that I wouldn't fall. So as we approach the hill to get off, Jared got off and as he was getting off he pretty much used me as a prop to push him self the right way, so of course i fell :( and it felt like I had just hit concrete. Its was so icy. My knee hurt so dang bad, so we looked at it, and it was so so so swollen, so we decided to do 2 more runs and go home.
We had a blast, and was much needed time to have fun :)



Circus Fun :)

January 29

Jared, Kirina and I decided we would go to the circus after our brother in law called and asked us if we wanted to go. After a two long days of moving our heavy things, we thought it would be fun to just relax and have some fun. We got there and it was packed. Thankfully there were a few seats left in the front row so we snatched them up quickly. We were really excited to see how Kirina would react to all of the excitement. Of course she did great. She loves being out of the house and really loves being around a lot of people. She was so dang cute, she was glued to all the acts going on. Every time we would clap for someone or cheer them on, she would clap and start talking. SO CUTE!!! Jared and I had lots of fun also because neither of us had been to the circus in some time. I of course loved all the animal acts. They had really cool tiger act, and a cute little dog act, and some elephant acts. I felt so bad for the elephants. They look so dang sad. My favorite was the bear act. They had the biggest, yet cutest bears doing some funny stuff. One bear was pushing a little girl in a wagon. It was just so much fun. Before the bear act the bear trainer and the bear came up right next to us waiting for there turn. I really wanted to pet the bear. The whole time the bear was staring at us, until the trainer kept feeding him raisin bran.

During intermission you could go down on the floor and ride the ponies, the elephants, slide down a big blow up slide and take a picture with the bear.

everything cost so much money to do, and I really wanted my picture with the bear, but Jared had never rode on a elephant before, so I told him he could ride on it and another time I could take a picture with the bear.

Jared said it was a really weird feeling riding on the elephant. He said he felt like he was going to fall off. It is a pretty weird feeling. I remember when I was younger and got to ride a elephant, and it does feel really weird.

Kirina I don't think knew what was going on, besides that she was high up and on some moving thing.

by the time we got done riding the elephant, it was time for the circus to start up again. The second part was mostly gymnasts and dancers and motorcycles in a ball.

We had lots of fun, and we will probably go again when Kirina is older and knows what is really going on besides lights and shinny things and sparkly people.

Kirina Is Crawling!!!

Sunday, January 22

Kirina started crawling, pulling herself up, and standing!!! YAY. I am so excited she can finally get around herself without having her cry for something she wants,but cant get to it. I figured she would be crawling soon because she would get on her knees and rock herself back and forth and then belly flopping it hoping that had got her closer to what she had been trying to get. The night before she had been army crawling for food of course, and then the next morning she got on her hands and knees and started crawling. For the first day, she would only crawl with one knee and she would only go side ways. It was so funny to watch. But as she figured out that was not getting her where she wanted, she finally started crawling forward :) She of course is getting into everything and everywhere. She can be naughty, thankfully she knows what "no no" means, and turns right around. Thank Goodness she has not ventured to the stairs yet, they just do not interest her right now. Hopefully it stays that way.  I can not believe she is so big, and is already crawling. I can not wait til she is walking and can finally be able to play with her cousins!!!

Our New Family Car

Well, its about time I finally got a new car!!!

My cars' clutch switch kept going out on me, and to get it fixed was going to be about 1,500 dollars to do so. I have fixed it twice now. So I figured its not worth it to keep paying all this money for it not to work a year later.

Jared and I decided we would go and look for a new car. I had fallen in love with a certain car at Jareds step dads Christmas Party. We had talked to him about getting a used one, and went to go look at it. We really loved it. As we were getting our credit approved, the sales person told us for a few dollars more a month we could get the brand new car. So we thought about it over night, and had decided that we would just go with the new car. I am really happy with what we got. I am so happy that I finally have a middle seat for Kirina, I feel much better knowing that she is safer. I also Love the fact that I can rely on my car to start up finally and not just randomly not start. A few features I love about our car is, The heated mirrors for when its cold out side, My cup holders light up, our mirror gets tinted when a car is too close to us and has there bright lights in the mirror, The built in cooler in the glove box, New car smell, Middle seat, very roomy, a back windshield wiper and cleaner, a huge trunk, Its not a stick shift :) and Sirius radio. The only thing I do not like is that I have to turn my lights on and off. But that's the only thing. SO for the most part, ITS GREAT!!!

And to go with the new car, We finally got Kirina her BIG GIRL CAR SEAT :) She looks so dang cute in it, and she actually looks small in it. She seems like she likes it for the most part :)

Bracelets For Kirina

I made some bracelets for Kirina. I figured she didnt have any, and she would be really cute in them :) so I decided to make some for her. Its allot harder than it seems and my hands and fingers hurt so bad. But it was so worth it. They turned out really good I think. I had lots of fun making them, and will most likely make more in the future :)
