Kirinas New Gym

Jared and I both decided that Kirina really needed to start playing with children her age or around it. She never gets the opportunity to play with other kids her own age or even at all. Once a week on Sunday she gets to play with her cousin Addi. But most days Kirina and I either sit at home and learn new things, or go out and spend lots and lots of mommy and me time!!! It is allot of fun spending time with her, but she needs more than just me or Jared. So I was looking up some fun places she could go and play with kids, and noticed a place called MY GYM children's fitness center. It offers classes from 6weeks of age and up. And each class has age groups and activities designed just for them. Parents get to interact the entire time. Its not a place where you drop off your kid and come back to get them. Only when they are 5 you can start leaving them alone. But for now, its all about quality time. Kirinas first day was on the 9th of March. She was so excited when we went in and she saw a bunch of kids and allot of fun things to climb on and just be a kid. At the begging of each class the parents get to come in and do some warm up stretches with them, do a dance and sing a song. After that she got to swing on a swing by holding on real tight to strengthen her muscles. Then she got to do some summer-saults....she was not to sure on them, but once we all clapped for her she had a big smile on her face, and did it again and waited for us to clap for her. She sure is silly. After about 30 min of gym time, they got to have "free play" and she enjoyed that. But she sure is one bully. One little girl was trying to go up a slide, and Kirina grabbed her leg and pulled her down and climbed on top of her so she could try to go up the slide. Then after that she was going up some stairs and a little boy was faster then her going up them, so she hit his back, and grabbed his shirt and tried to push him down. I had to tell her no no. She felt pretty bad after I told her that. I did not know if she felt bad because I said no no, or was mad at me because I told her she couldn't be mean. But according to Jared, He is almost positive she gets that from his side :) But besides her being a little bully, she really had fun with the teachers and all the fun mazes and activities. I am so excited we found a place for her to have fun and be herself, and hopefully get her to be more outgoing. This will be a fun summer now that she will have a set routine :)

She loves ice cream. Kirina and I went and got ice cream after she played so hard :) more mommy daughter time :)

She gave up on the spoon....subzero ice cream does not have ice cream cones so she had to have it in a bowl :( but its so good and right next door to her gym!
